We are in Great Britain, in Norwich, where a project that is completely tailor-made and customized in every detail: for the city’s hospital, in fact, an X-Change acoustic pod has been installed with remarkable dimensions of 10 meters long and 4 meters wide.
The walls are all double-glazed, as per the door, allowing better room acoustics. In addition to its considerable dimensions, the cabin is also distinguished by a series of optional extras: it is equipped with a smoke detection and fire safety system, mechanical ventilation and a heating system that can be regulated by thermostats installed inside the cabin.
The entire lighting system is LED and equipped with a PIR presence sensor capable of sensing the presence or movement of personnel inside with the aim of saving energy. A further requirement was to leave the existing floor on the inside to allow a step-free passage for wheelchair users. Another innovation installed is the electronic lock with code system directly on the handle.
