FUNDAE Training Centre

Description

Fundae, the Spanish training centre for professional education, chose Quadrifoglio Group as its strategic partner for the renewal of a 300 square metre multifunctional area in its own Madrid headquarters.

The environment was designed to host different types of events, such as training meetings, conferences and official events: due to its versatile nature, the furnishings had to guarantee the highest level possible of adaptability and innovation.

The architects José María Peláez-Campomanes and Alejandro García Lozano, under the supervision of our partner Burodecor, developed a design concept based on flexibility: retractable grandstands, movable walls for room modulation, and an advanced multimedia system for an optimal experience during every event.

To achieve these requirements, it was essential to integrate an adjustable lighting system and an effective soundproofing, key elements for the comfort and functionality of the space.
The Lightsound system proved to be the ideal choice, combining lighting and sound absorption in a single element with a contemporary design and high technical performance.
Its modularity also made it possible to play with heights, resulting in a dynamic, functional yet design-driven ceiling.
Moreover, the Cartesio architectural system, provided highly customisable technical lighting thanks to its modular tracks.
Its elegant and discreet design ensured a harmonious integration with the aesthetics of the environment, combining beauty and functionality.
Additionally, both lighting solutions satisfied the client’s need for light dimming and control for perfect synchronisation with the audio part being Cartesio and Lightsound DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface), a communication standard for digital lighting that allows different light sources to be grouped and controlled in an addressable manner.
A further added value, much appreciated by the client, was the 100% Italian quality of the solutions adopted, as architect José María Peláez-Campomanes puts it: “Italy has been a reference point in industrial and interior design for decades. Having high quality Italian products was a trademark and added significant value to the project“.
